contact a fish and wildlife officer and ask him if he could give you tips on good public hunting spots, most will gladly send you to great locations...
Good Luck...

Default You got to love this woman...

You have to love a woman that bought you a rifle instead of a weed whipper or something else that is tied to work.....

Don't worry about it being too late to start hunting this year. For some reason, I'm sure it's the weather, the deer really even haven't began moving yet, so I think you're just fine. Hoping for some colder temps to get things rocking and rolling here in NC.

Welcome to the site sir. Ask around at work etc to see if you can find someone you can hunt with. Most guys will gladly take a "just gettin started" hunter with them.

Good luck and congrats on the new firearm.
