into the wind

Does shooting into the wind make a bullet fly high? .270 ballistic silver tip. I just shot right on(left right) but 5 in. high(slight wind 5 mph)130 yrds

Im a complete moron when it comes to windage and how it affects bullet flight. So take these thoughts with a grain of salt.

Wind can affect it but I wouldnt think a slight wind would raise it 5 full inches in only 130 yards. Someone with more knowledge please clarify on this topic. I always need to learn something new.
