Barnes Vortx Ammo

Any one else try it. Evidently Barnes started loading ammo. Tried some in my Ruger M77 in 270 and that H&R 270. i was surprised. the H&R was grouping about 1" at 100 yds and the Ruger was grouping 1/2" at 100 yds. The round is loaded with the 130 gr Barnes Triple shock bullets, which i have heard good things about. Have still been trying other ammo to get away from them winchester ballistic tips. i think i found a winner.

i have the barnes triple shock in 7mm/08 its a devastating bullet,it does what it says it does.retains nearly all of it weight and splits into pedals

I'm a fan of the Barnes all copper bullets. They hold together extremely well and expand better than lead. To bad they're so expensive.

I have no experience with the new technology triple shock bullets, but I do know the solid copper bullets from Barnes in the 80s did deposit alot of copper in the rifling. By what the articles say now that is in the past, but I did experience the copper fouling with the old style ones.
