I agree with ronn there's no such thing as a death-kick, it's just a dying quiver a natural reaction caused by the central nervous system.
I helped a friend field dress a deer once and as I emptied the cavity of organs the deer kicked my friend in the knee
not a hard kick it was more like just a leg slowly exntending outward, I'm no expert so I don't have a scientific answer but it was most likely just a muscle spasm,
a natural reaction caused by a nerve or a muscle.
