Ronn, I've had borsesnakes for my Benelli and 300 WSM for the last couple years. I think they are great for taking along when going hunting - leave in the truck, or, in a coat pocket, but I don't use them for regular cleaning after a session at the range. I like using new clean patches for that. The closest thing to a Boresnake for regular cleaning is the Otis system which is another breech to muzzle system. Otis Technology, Inc. |

i've seen the adds and is close to the same but allows you to use your same technique to clean. i ask because the lever gun cleaning came up. now the ar's aren't that bad but the snake sure makes seasoning a barrel a lot easier. the otis would be almost as simple.
