Default stock finishing
going to redo the finish on the stock of my rifle , i have ideas on how to do it with a paint removing acid , a black dye and a matt finishing oil .does this sound correct ? and does anyone have any specifics on the subject.

If you plug in "rifle stock refinishing" into your brower, you'll get lots of links with instructions and tips for this job.
