If the rut is still on in your part of the country you may want to set up using some good estrus scent and add an estrus call and. I too would move into closer to the bedding area looking for the thickest area, find a small opening between thickets and set up. Right now is tough times for hunters as the deer are looking for safety cover and feeding at night.

Just curious, I'm considering a trail cam.

What make and model is it? Are you satisfied with the quality of the pictures it takes?

I had a bobcat on one of my box stands. 2 weeks ago he jumped out in the lane when my brother in law hit his Fawn Bleat and got blown away.

I put a trail camera on right after that and didn't have a picture during daylight on it for 2 weeks. I gave up on the stand. My little sister hunted it yesterday afternoon and got a big doe. You never can tell.

Good luck.

i have a cuddeback. i am very pleased with it, very use friendly and quick motion sensor, also the pictures are great quality, i went with the $199 model., i really dont see the need for the more expensive one. I have absolutely no regrets.
