tree stands

I'm thinking about getting a tree stand for rifle, but I don't know of any good ones to buy. I don't really want a climbing stand either. Any suggestions?

the two man ladder stands are super comfy for all day hunts if ya got your own land you could set up several small hang on stands and use steps or ladders to access them.It depends on your budget and you size and how comfortable you want to be.do you sit all day?then go for comfort short hunts? then you can skimp on comfort.after the season is over is the best time to buy stands from wal mart etc as they discount em big time

tree stands for cheap

The Dick's Sporting Goods store here in Knoxville had SEVERAL really good hang on stands for under $90. Most of the platforms of 'em was 30+" L and 24+" W. Some even had full back rests and gear attachment systems. I believe 2-3 even had adjustable shooting rails to either bow or gun hunt out of.

Most of the actual ladder stands though were running about 130 for anything with a little bit of comfort

just my $0.02

Get a quite and easy stand

Try to look for a stand that is easy to put together (one you can do in complete darkness if you have to). Some come with nylon strips that you rap around the tree with balls on them that are also extreamly quite. Well worth the money!

If your going to shoot then shoot, If your not going to shoot then dont shoot.
