M1A Cheekpad keeps on slipping. Any Ideas??

Hey everyone,

My Cheekpad keeps on slipping to the right. I apply the correct downward pressure but it still slips right from the recoil. In the military we would combat this with some 100 mph tape but I don't want to ruin the pad. Any other ideas?

Thanks

buy a small piece of Non-Slip shelf padding and cut out the size you need to use between the cheek pad and the rifle stock.
The stuff works great in kitchen cabinets and drawers..
Good Luck
