Scent blocker

I was wodering if that scent blocker worked and if anyone used that stuff.

I've never used it myself but I have supported it because of the 100% claim of being scent free and carbon killing odor and all that but I've heard many disadvantages mainly of the carbon wearing out and not activating anymore or something of that nature. But I do use a whole bunch of the scent killer spray and I mean a whole bunch.

I use all that stuff and have confidence in it. I use scent blocker, scent-lok, sliver thread, scent eliminating soaps and detergents, and the spray scent eliminators. Is it 100%? I very much doubt it, but nothing is. I have had mature bucks come within bow range from down wind. Unfortunately other things stopped me from closing the deal. Will they walk up and bump into you? No, but they will get within bow range, sometimes. I have had does at less than 10 ft. The thing is you can't use part of the scent eliminating system without using all of the steps and expect it to do any good. I wash EVERYTHING in scent eliminating detergents that will fit in the washer. I spray down my stands, bows, rifles, everything. Having the wind in your favor is the best way to go but the deer don't seem to want to follow the plans I lay out for them. Look at it this way it can't hurt, can it?

I used to, but found that it took up too much time and effort for the little good that it did...plus it's expensive! I think it is easier to figure out deer travel patterns than to get set up with scent limiting clothing. Read up on all the stuff they recommend you do with that stuff for it to work...it's a pain. Plus, there was some kind of class action suit going around a while back against Scent-loc saying that it doesn't really do anything...that doesn't really mean that it doesn't, but still...

I haven't purchased the carbon clothing but I believe in the sprays. Their cheap and seem to work! Their just one more tool in the box.

I use a scentloc coverall in bow season, other than that I use the scent free sportwash often on the clothes and use the scent free soaps when I am going hunting. Who knows if it works or not but I see lot's of deer up close and rarely get busted.

I used to hunt squirrel, and one day a scunk sprayed my dog in the face. After a few minutes of rolling around on the ground, my dog went back to hunting and picked up a squirrell trail and I killed 4 more squirresl that day. I don't believe you can elimate your odor no matter what you put on it. the main thing try to stay up wind.

I use the scent blocker boots but not the clothing. I pretty much spray everything as Ronn listed. I hunt 20 ft up 95% of the time and see so much more game than years ago. The spray is cheap and neutrilizes the scent so it does work. You have to be diligent with preperation or it is a waste of time. I like using the earth scent wafers to mask what little odor I can't control. I do think all the hype on the carbon clothing is overated.

I use the sprays the cloths the soaps ,everything,cuz it gives me more confidence,which is the key ingrident for a succesful day in the woods.Right now,scent loc and scent blocker are in court cuz someones suing saying the cloths dont work.I believe the soaps definately work and watch the wind.

we use that kinda stuff i think it works well it gets the job done
