Welcome to Deer Hunter's Club padeerslayer! Great to have you here! If you would like, you may want to take a moment to introduce yourself in 'The Lodge'. May your hunting be successful.

Welcome pa. Hope you enjoy this site. You will find we are just a bunch of common folks who enjoy hunting. Notice you are from PA. What part?

Use a 12 Gauge - It covers more area!

not reallyat long range however i use to use remington ammo and the point of impact changed i had to readjust the scope.maybe ill go to the range and try some longer distance.i got it sighted for dead on at 100yrds we really dont have alot of open woods around here all woodlots are pretty dense so most shots are 50yrds

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
