243 wssm or 270

i am looking at 243 wssm's but would a good 270 be better for the money.

yes! if you do alot of shooting the EXTREMELY high velocity of the 243 wssm would trash the barrel in short order. go wit the 270 if you want yor rifle to have a longer life.

i would go with any of the NATO rounds just because they are cheap to shoot but thats just my opinion
