 Stevens Savage Model 200 Does anyone have any experience with the Savage Model 200?. From what I have gathered it is a good, but basic gun, nothing fancy. That explains the price tag> I have seen many in the price range of $275 to $325 in most of the popular calibars, 22-250. 243,30-06, 7mm-08 etc. I found a used one for $219 in the 7mm-08, a caliber I have wanted, this price is without the scope, composit stock, but it does have the bases on it to mount a scope. peckspond  |

| I have a model 110 and have been very pleased with it. It's an older model 10 yrs old or so and I shot my first deer out this season with it. Can't beat it for the price and the guy that runs the hunt club that I went had a 270 as his main rifle and he has the option of a bunch. |

| I got one for Phillip (girlfriends son) in a .30-06 Cal. First year out he got a nice 4 pointer with it. It turned out to be very accurate, lightweight and comfortable shooting SO I ended up getting another one for myself.  No problems at all with either of them and you can't beat the price. Good Luck
