 Anyone use shooting sticks? A couple of years ago I found myself perched on the side of a steep hill overlooking a field that had a nice buck in it. I made the shot, but decided that a pair of shooting sticks would work really well in a setup like this. I went home and made a pair using wooden dowels. Since then, I've improved my design and even added another leg. This has given me a ROCK SOLID rest. I especially like using it when I'm on a deer stand where I might get a long shot. It's a real confidence builder, and I have used it to kill several deer in the last couple of years. Has anyone else tried shooting sticks?  |

| yep i made a pair my self got the instructions from another site.i love em i turn the 2 legs long ways and tighten the wing nut and i have a sturdy walking stick.they.can be used to shoot like that also.(standing or i can turn them down and use them sitting as a big bi pod.Makes for a steady rest.
