Default remington 742

My uncle say's he is done with deer hunting and wants me to find out what his Remington model 742 .30.06 semi auto, with a Bushnell sportview scope is worth. Serial no. is 7443402. Anyone that has any idea please render your
advice. The gun is in very good condition.
I am having trouble posting a picture.

at best $400 and that's gonna be hard. I have bought several of the 740s and 742s for less than $300. scope aint gonna get ya anything extra unless its a high dollar scope and like new. Other than that most don't care about the scope on a rifle cuz most times its coming off anyway

Compare auctions on GunBroker. Watch a few, see what they close at and average out the final prices to get a true idea. Then anything special on yours would be the only change.

I have the same rifle... bought mine about 6 years ago and paid $400 for it at auction. I would think it's worth $400
