Default Had a great time at the club yesterday. Three hogs down!

Two other guys and I went to the hunting club yesterday for the last hunt for a while.
Well, I set in one of my favorite stands over looking a field that's about 160 yards deep and about 40 yards wide.
It was pretty early when the first group came out into the field at location (A) these little suckers stacked up right behind the feeder like they were trying to hide from me, every one of them (about 8) were facing me and not a one would turn broad side for quite a while,,,but when he did, I let the 45-70 knock him down! BOOM! If you look real close thats him on the ground at location (C) in the picture.
Just before dark another group of the little guys came out at location (B) from the back of the field headed straight for the feeder. As soon as one of those (about six this time) turned side ways,,,,,BOOM! I let him have it. The others started to run off,,,BOOM! I let another one have it. The little guy did the "Horazonal Dirt Dance" for a while but it was over for him......
One of the other guys that was talking trash about how good of a shot he was, MISSED one of about five that came out in a field he was hunting. The other guy didnt see anything. I had a DAM good time!
Here are some pictures I took with my cell phone. There are only two hogs in the pic,,,one of the other guys was in the field looking for the other hog when I took this pic.

Default Silly question, are they tasty????

How does wild pig taste? I would guess it depends on what they are eating in the area that they live, am I right?

The small sows are good,,,we dont eat the big boars. It depends on there environment and what they eat.....
