We're in Florida for the winter. My son-in-law and I took the boys to a safety training session at the range. The instructor had a large turnout. He brought 6 .22's and each kid got to fire as much as they wanted. Our 11 year old's third session resulted in 20 rounds in 1 and 1/2 inches at 50 yards. The 10 year olds groups were about twice that.I was impressed with the instructor drilling into them that every gun is assumed to be loaded, every gun is pointed in a safe direction(downrange),and keep your finger off the trigger until your sure you want to fire and no rapid fire.
Early safety training is very important. Good job for taking them. You can continue the training by setting up an air pellet rifle rifle inside your garage to keep the learning fresh in their minds.
Thats awesome I love watching my daughters shoot & they love to do it whether bows or firearms & both are very good shots (better then dad)
I don't know why but they are steady as a rock with the rifles
