Shotgun yildiz?

hi guys,
my dad is thinking of buying a new shotgun he definitely wants a side by side as he hunted with that since a very young age. in the shop in Mauritius he came across this deal 1300 bucks for a brand new side by side cal 12 yildiz a3te. has anyone of you heard of that.
i personally own a side by side robust saint etienne in 12 gauge, a french shotgun that belong to my grand father since he was 14. this is one son of a gun.
thanks

Sounds like it is a Russian shotgun

In Russia or other parts of the former Soviet Union there is a large firearms industry. Many of those companies are trying to break into the US market.
The Russian shotguns I have looked at were solid, there level of finish is one place where corners are cut.
