Opening weekend
 
The weather here was brutal for deer hunting. Mid 70's with 20-30 mph winds. A few deer were killed but just not good weather for deer to move well. I jumped 1 up going to stand saturday morning and didnt see anything rest of day. I was so disgusted with the weather that I didnt even go out sunday. How did everyone else's 1st weekend go??

Michigan gun season opens Nov 15th and here in Ohio the Monday after Thanksgiving. PA bow hunt went pretty good with a 6 and a 9 pt'er taken last week. We were seeing good rut sign and buck movement.

Same here semo.... gusty weather all day saturday and sunday was a disappointing day because of warm windy weather in the morning followed by wet windy and cold weather in the afternoon.

It was like this last year too!

i hunt in madison co mo, warm and windy here also. my son harvested a spike buck chasing a doe sat morn @615. i bumped a doe leaving my stand to help him recover and dress his deer. looks like cooler weather is on the way for weekend #2.
