i just inherited a really nice browning bar in 7mm rem mag sweet shooting gun heavy but sweet i am trying to find out if anyone has any helpful tips on handloading for it for now just going to use it on deer here in idaho i have herd that the 140 gr is a good size for deer in this caliber any ideas guys

63.5 grains of IMR 4350
Winchester Brass
CCI Large Rifle Primers
Bullet dimensions are straight from the manuals.

This load will shoot 1/2" groops or smaller from my Remington Model 700 BDL.

Is punctuation a lost skill anymore? You know, periods, commas, proper spelling? Capitalization?

Use small base dies if possible on Semi-Autos
 

I am not sure if they are offered on magnum rounds, but I was always told to use small base dies when reloading for semi-autos. I have a set of rcbs small base dies in 30-06 that I only use when loading for semi-autos. They reduce the entire case slightly more and aid in chambering. Hopefully someone that loads magnums for a BAR will chime in if they need small base dies in the magnums.
