Alex Rodriguez on pace for 156 home runs

I know this guy makes a mountain of money. He gets booed all year long and puts up solid numbers year in and year out. He does tend to choke in the playoffs, but if you look into the future. This is the guy that may be sitting on top of the homerun record book when all is said and done. I know everyone*, and I do mean everyone*, will be rooting for him then.

i know he will never hit that many but if he did hit that many homers i wonder if the booing will continue? probably. they would continue to just cheer for there beloved jeter.

You'd think folks would appreciate a perennial All-star. Granted he hasn't lit it up during the playoffs, but he hasn't exactly been 2 for 36 either. I'm willing to bet his postseason numbers will continue to go up if/when he makes it back. At some point the talent and law-of-averages will catch up.

Last year pulled those numbers down a bit because he did stink up the place.
