Chris Simon took a vicious shot at Rangers Ryan Hollweg. Simon got nailed against the boards, then took a nasty two handed stick shot, with force to Hollweg's face. Ouch. Don't think this guy will be playing again this year.

Yea, that was a pretty brutal shot man. There's a very fine line in the game of hockey as to what sorts of violence are permitted. Using the stick to intentionally inflict pain is not one of those permitted forms of violence.

I agree, don't think he'll be back this year... nor should he be.

well it looks like he want be back this year and part of next. i dont see the islanders going deep in the playoffs or anything.
