Default Anyone keeping up with the Predators?

They're on a pretty nice run. 5 straight wins on the road. They did lose their first 3 games, but haven't lost in regulation since then.

Big game coming up Friday night at division rival: Detriot Red Wings.

Go Preds.. glad to see they added some offensive firepower during the offseason.. maybe this is the year we can make a deeper run in the playoffs

i hope our backup goalie can step to the plate in vokouns absence. they been on fire lately. mason stepped in last season and did not do to bad. hopefully we can start putting some distance between us and the red wings

I think Mason will step his game up. The preds also just picked up a free agent goalie to back Mason up while Vokoun is out.

The good news is, this team has a really deep roster. We were having to sit guys like Radulov (a pretty impressive young scorer) and several other players that, on any other NHL team, would be getting some playing time. The next few games will be pretty important, while we wait for Vokoun and center Jason Arnott to make it back.
