· Does the man look poor or oppressed?
· Is he really a terrorist? Am I guilty of profiling?
· Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?
· Could we run away?
· What does my wife think?
· What about the kids?
· Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?
· What does the law say about this situation?
· Does the pistol have appropriate safety built into it?
· Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

well i do own a 1911, but not a kimber. mine is a Para USA GI Expert 1911. i dont have winchester silver tip. mine is loaded with Hornady 45 Auto+P 230gr TAP FPD. and my answer did not quite match any of the anwers. the first though tha came to mine was. " I'd blow his ####ing head off." so what dose that make me? republican or southener?

haha I was going to say "IT MAKES YOU WHAT EVER THE HECK YOU WANT IT TO BE!!" hahaha,, like I've always said, I'd hate to see a guy who breaks into my house/car/property or threatens my family in any way, after I'm done with him. I may not be a born fighter or big tough guy, but I guarantee you, I am a BIG guy, and a strong guy at that,,, and I guarantee you when the adrenaline gets pumping, you don't wanna be the person begging for mercy b/c when it comes to the things listed above, I have NONE for you.

now that said, this human running at me in this scenario would not live to see tomorrow. I don't see anything wrong with shooting to kill in this situation.

ill just call my self a " good ole right wing'in country boy" and i would also like to point out that there are 12 bangs in the first series of shots from the southener. the standered 1911 mag holds 8 rounds, so assuming it was me there would be 9 bangs in the first series. (8 in the mag + 1 in the pipe). now you can get 10 rounders, so assumeing you had the extended mags and had one in the pipe, thats still only 11 bangs. do yall southeners shout bang when your shooting? sorry, i had to. now back to my case this is what it would sound like....

Here is a story I read this morning on this topic. It actually made my day to read that the police said it was more than justified so that woman doesn't have to worry about going to jail or being fined for protecting her family!
