True that Delbert! I am tired of just about all politicians. There are very few that have the will power and resolve to consistently stand on what is right. I am all for the country being goverened, (not RULED President) by honest and hard working Americans. Like those who founded thie country and those who are the life blood of this country. Not sure if this is possible with the way the media is so intertwined in politics and with how much money corruption there is. The barrier is too high for most who have the passion and fire to get involved in elections. Those who believe need to trudge on and push for true leaders that have a strong and steady set of morals and values.

I keep getting more excited about Mr. Cain the more I research about him. I made the first political donation ever to his campaign to support what I believe and feel is best.

So far I think Cain is failing bigtime on the Second Amendment.

check out this Cain interview with Wolf Blitzer...

The following clip from the interview isnt the sort of response I would like to hear from a Presidential Candidate But I'm not letting this determine my final decision on him.

"BLITZER: Should states or local government be allowed to control guns, the gun situation, or should…
CAIN: Yes

BLITZER: Yes?
CAIN:Yes.

BLITZER: So the answer is yes?
CAIN: The answer is yes, that should be a state’s decision.
"

Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.

I didnt say he was anti gun, I'm only pointing out what he said in one interview, I really don't know where he stands on Gun Laws
but this interview didn't impress me and personally I dont think any one of us wants "Gun Control", In any state, but Cain seems to think it should be left up to state level governments to decide,
I dont think there should be any seperate regulations on the 2nd amendment from one state to the next, in other words the 2nd amendment is universal and should be treated equally throughout every state.

I have emailed the Cain Campaign for clarification and for a clear gun ownership/gun rights positional statement. I will pass this along when I get a response.

How is it a state decision when it's clearly stated in an amendment to the Constitution?

It's not like it could be covered under the enumeration clause.
