Welfare/drug testing

I dont begrudge anyone help who has fallen on hard times it can happen to anyone.However i do feel every state should impose random drug testing if your on public assistance.I feel this would weed out some of the abusers.Nobody should have to finance someones drug problem!

SOME of the abusers?!?! I would bet, that if they REFUSED to give welfare to people who could NOT pass a drug test AND a breathalizer in the same day, (BI-Monthly), that the welfare handouts would be reduced over 75%. I BET YOU ANYTHING. If you throw in there smokers (and I know some of you guys smoke) the percentage would go up farther.

The only bad thing then is the crime rate would sky rocket.

People get the welfare and trade it away for cash. It's plain and simple. Heck there are some drug dealers, gas stations, and grocery stores that will allow you to buy cigs, alcohol, and drugs with your welfare money and/or food stamps. It's pathetic. We live in a nation that depends on other people SO Much that it's down right pathetic. I got an e-mail the other day about DETRIOT, Mich. Anyone seen it? I'll try to find it and post it if I can.... it'll shock you.
