people see what they want to see and there is nothing anyone can do to change that. my first thought was witch craft, voodoo, and the like, none of which is believable either. much in the same way the tea party goers are seen or portrayed as racist, ignorant, homophobes, and all because they didn't drink the kool aid and have had enough from the feds, BOTH SIDE OF THE ISLE. people see what they want to see.

OK, you guys all think it's funny, and I still think it's racist. So, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree on this one. It's pretty clear to everyone here that I'm the odd-man-out when it comes to politics on this site. Too bad for me, as it get's a little lonely on this side of the arguments, but, hey, that's my choice as, believe it on not, even WITH the politics, I like you guys - especially Bruce and HM. I guess what really bugs me is that this site is supposed to be a deer hunting site, and, if you have ever read the rules, you might remember that politics is supposed to be left out of the discussions. There are plenty of political sites out there for that.
Bruce, if you think I called you a racist, I'm sorry. That may not exactly be an apology, but it's the best I can do at the moment.

onehorse its ok by me to be opposites in politics, at least we agree on most hunting stuff. I tend to think most gun owners favor conserative politics and personal freedoms they just go hand in hand. The democrats have went so far liberal/socialist that even JFK would shudder today. I think because the health care vote was so one sided and not favored by a clear majority of Americans we had to voice a justified outcry here. I know where you stand you know where I stand. As you said we'll agree to disagree on this one. I would think together at 10,000' politics probably wouldn't enter the fireside conversation! HM

onehorse no apologies are necessary. I posted a graphic that you viewed in a way I never meant it to be viewed. I'm sorry it offended you. however, My only intention was to inject a little humor to lighten the heavy load created by the passing of such a controversial heathcare bill.
They always say laughters the best medicine and in this case many of us felt sickened by what Obama did, I'm really shocked that his actions didn't slap and insult you as it did each of us.
All of us agree the nation needs better healthcare but not this way.
Politics or not, democrats or republicans, black people or white people, the only thing that matters here is the amount of common respect each of us possess for one another.
And onehorse I respect you and every other member at this website and I will continue to do so no matter what's said.
feelings may get hurt once in awhile but I hope the friendships we all have here last forever.
I bet No other website has the family type atmosphere that we've created here.

That may not exactly be an apology, but it's the best I can do at the moment. | you have every right to your political opinon. that is your right given to you by the constitution. and i think it is safe to say that any and every Vet on hear is proud that you are exercising your rights that we have swarn to protect. as a mater of fact Respectfull disagreement is what makes our countery so great. my political opinion is no more valuble than yours. its just mine. i also think that when one political party rules the roust, the way the Dems do right now it is just plane dangrous for us citizens. and i would say that if the Reps were a super majority to. our countery was built to have checks and ballences and when you have a super majoraty like we have now, all them checks and ballances go out there window. so even though we disagree, i am happy you feel the way you do, and hope you go out and vote for your beliefs in the fall.   | | |
