That is one stud of an 8 point, no doubt! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you do see him first (cause we'll get some "after" pics then too!)
Wait! I think I recognize him from our trail cam too!! :w00t: (JK)
Sorry about those pics being so stinking large... I uploaded them at the dudes house that had them on his pc... There are several nice deer hitting this salt lick right now. At the feeders we are getting only spikes and does right now but at the salt licks it seems all the bigger older deer are hitting those hard right now.
That full frontal shot would sure be a close one to meet the minimum distance between the curl of the antlers. Texas law states min of 13 1/2 inches, normally that's reaching the tips of the ears. That's sure a close one in my book.
But then again, there's still a few more months before season starts and I'm sure that he'll fill out a bit more between now and then.
Oh wait . . . y'all don't have those laws there in TN do you? In that case, when are you going to put the head on the wall and the meat in the freezer???
BF, I'm not very happy with you right now.... <--- this coming from a guy who has seen ONE (1) BUCK on his trail camera since March. (and it was a button buck....)
Sorry tator... Next time I see them I will holler and say go west.
rdrader that will have a 15 inch spread when he is on the ground and score about a 120. I think anyway.
What do yall think?
