Ron, if you are even remotely interested in filming hunts, you will not regret buying a high definition camera. They're fairly affordable now and you don't have to buy the "big name" brands... the small companies make good cameras as well. Just remember... if you do buy a new camera it won't be long before you buy a high defintion TV so you can enjoy the footage to the fullest, if you don't already have one that is.

Hey Bruce, I'm using a Sony Handycam HDR XR-150 and I love it. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a jack for an external microphone. Not that the mic thats on it is bad or anything... its a great all-around camera for anybody interested in filming their hunts.
