Default 2006/2007 deer

Will9.jpg This is my buck from 2006-2007 season shot opening morning of ohio's gun season i was siting on the ground and he walked with in 5 ft of me , My 12ga barked and we was down for the count dressed out at 225lbs was a big body deer with a broken set of antler's lol this was my 1st shotgun buck ....sniper

Timberghost, Let me tell you buddy it was a rush in it self, I could have hit him with the gun barrel if i would have tryed, what blew my mind was the slug did NOT penetrate the off side shoulder.....sniper

My son has the bullet from a .30/30 that penetrated one side, but was a visible bump under the skin on the other side of the deer after we walked up to him afterwards. The deer?? It walked about three steps after being hit and dropped. Core-Lokt 150 grain - hard to beat the results.

5 ft.. Twill be hard to get closer to one than that.

Roger Raglin has on video one with his bow at 3 feet from the ground-----170" worth of 10 point. Invading Big Buck Bedding Areas. That was really cool.

wasn't that with a bow? or am i thinking of a different kill?

I have a 300 win mag , 180 grn Nosler accubond retrieved from the back of the skull of a 230 lb eight point ,it entered through its rear vent at 140 yards and it retained 80% of its weight. Dropped in its tracks
