That's making a HUGE statement in my book, almost like put up or shut up so far the others are choosing to shut up.
the only prob is that it is funded by tax payer $$$$$. they have no intetion of paying the tax payers back, so ya they can aford to put a long warenty on it. i will never buy another GM or Cryseler product again. then again if we stop buying there product they will just go back to our wonderfull got and take our $$$$ again so we might as well get a truck out of our hard earnd cash.

so ya know the warranty was long before the bailout. well the second one anyway. the first one was in the 70's i believe and was payed back.

like Ronn said the Mopar Warranty was in effect well before the money was accepted. huntnh, you won't buy a GM or Chrysler product ever again because of this but you'll do your banking in banks that took way more cash than they ever needed and you'll buy your Insurance from a company that did the same thing.

One last thing you might want to consider is CHRYSLER'S ROLE during Wartime. They stepped up when we needed them Shouldn't we step up for them when they need us?

Long before the United States entered World War II, automobile manufacturers began devoting ever greater amounts of production time to defense work, for export to Britain as well as for the United States. The Chrysler Corporation was one of the car makers most active in defense work.

I'll ALWAYS support and defend anyone that steps up for my/our Country!

CHRYSLER has done more for this country than any other 4 companies Combined!

It's actually Fiat, a german owned company but Fiat is currently only a 35% Partner with Cerberus Capital Management which also owns 51% of GM.

bb, i agree with you. also ford was the lowest bidder to the US going into wwII but because they wouldn't take the feds money and go along with fdr's nra socialist bs the gov awarded the contract to dodge and gm. just a point of interest.

i'm going to buy the one i like and the deal, warranty, fit and finish play a role for me, regardless of manufacturer.

GM, government motors I really hate this current government takeover crap, History says people's rights will be vaporized over a short time period once a socialist government is fully in place. Anyway, at this moment in time I prefer the Ford truck over anything else out there, but tomorrow I could change my mind. I think I'm still allowed to do that for the moment!

this is what has me so up set. im not saying doge trucks are bad, or cheveys ether. my dad has had his chevy formany years and put about 150,000 miles on it without having any major issues with it. i also know several people with doges who love them. im just saying i dont want to saport companys who think its ok to take large amounts of tax payers cash and think its ok. and in returen the govt has the power to tell them to do exactly what to do. as for cryseler seping up and makeing defence vehicals for WW2, thats gerat and all, but are any of the executives who did that still working for them. i doubt it, and if any of them are even still alive that have had there retirment bennys cut, do to terms of the bail out. and Ford made jeeps for us during the war to. just sayin. and if my memory serves me right mersadies bens made tanks for hitler dering the war, but i dont hold cerent mersadys execs responcible for it. i did not mean to offend any one by my statment, and opologis if i did, however i do stand behind my opinion of not likeing GM or cryseler because they took our $$$$$$ and there was notheing we could do about it.

i dont know if this will lighten the mood or make it worce..
