Do have to relay the story about the last time I tried shooting something out the back door, BEFORE we try doing something like that again.
Last time, it was a raccoon that was taking up permanent residence ON the back porch. I pulled out the single shot .410, loaded it, then went for the coon. Problem was, the long drapes that hang down covering the sliding back door kinda sorta got in the way. Oh, I certainly blew a hole in sump'n, but it sure wasn't that coon. Mama still rags me about that every now and then.
But y'all are certainly welcome to 'stop by' . . . and I'll have a pot o' coffee waitin for ya.
Maybe then we can discuss a 'long term lease' for that .243 that my youngest son has outgrown. Hmmm, maybe if I can get daughter #3 interested in hunting, she may end up with it instead of my #1 grand-daughter . . . . . . . . . . .
