Picked up this TC Prohunter Encore with Leupold mount in 7mm-08 from Gunbroker a few weeks ago. Also bought a Nikon Omega 3x9x40 scope for $130 that I will mount up this weekend. I purchased the Mike Belm oversize hinge pin to eliminate the play and honed down the sear to a 2.5# trigger pull. Did I need it...no. Did I want it...yes. Can't wait to reload up some 140gr Accubond pills into it. 3 of my hunting buds have Encore's and they cut holes.

Good looking purchase.

90% of the hunting equipment we buy we dont technically "need" to go hunting.

sharp. maybe the most ergonomically correct feeling rifle when brought to shoulder. i just can't justify, in my mind, the price tag.

I could never get past the price myself until I found one with less than 30 shots through it for $620 on Gunbroker.
