North Carolina Buck

i shot this 11 pointer 11-19-2008 at 5:15 pm with a remington model 700 .30-06 at 40 yards. it scored a rough gross of 150 1/2" it's 17" inside spread, 20" outside, with 12" G2s and 6 1/2" G3s.

That's a really nice buck. I've got a couple on the property that I hunt that big. Hope I can get one so I can post my pictures. Good hunting.

i actually didn't get too nervous. it happened so fast. i had 2 does in the corn pile and i heard something behind them so i was looking back behind them and then i heard something grunt back behind my left shoulder. i looked over and he was standing right in the middle of the trail. he started to trot after them, i gave a little holler and he stopped and then i shot. it all happened in literally one minute, haha.
