Default Hungry Bob Cat caught on Cuddyback

I didn't know if You all saw these or not. They were taken by the TrailCam, in Huntingdon Co. Pa. This really is one tough little Bobcat !!!

There would be one less bobcat in my woods if I got a shot at him. It's hard to believe that one could take down a grown deer like that, but there it is.

My guess is that he didn't take it down, he attacked the deer while it was bedding down.
Once the bobcat bites onto the throat they hold on with vice-grip like pressure until they suffocate the deer,
Sometimes the bite causes the deer to drown in it's own blood.

Yes indeed Buckshot. That cat would have to go.

Im with Bruce on this too. That cat had to sneak up on it while it was bedding.

I wonder if there are some other pics before these. (like the doe bedded) Or if they battled into the cam view?

That's pretty intense pictures, but is the tree in the pic rubbed up by a buck?

Wouldn't be much for eatin' but he would make a nice addition on the wall. I try to take out as many bobcats on our lease as possible. I also let some trappers in during the off season for nuisance control.
