This is another camera from that 3 breakline and pinch point. 20 yards from one of my stands.

the turkeys were gone for a while but now they are tearing the place up. I think its having an possitive effect on why I'm seeing the other critters now.

Vermont is currently doing a survey on turkey sightings throughout Vermont during August, I
HOPE the reason for the survey is to increase more hunting time and temporarily increase the annual limit for turkey.
I think the Deer are now having to compete for the same foods with the turkeys and the turkeys are winning.

more Awesome pics Ronn thanks again for sharing..

i think you're right about the competition Bruce. at least for part of the year. the turkeys are really expanding here and in vt and they are always looking at upping the limit here. sadly though its so they can stick you for another buck.

Yup you're right it's usually to gain more funds but It's been rumored that Vermont is only looking to maybe go with full days hunts instead of 1/2 days and maybe increasing tha annual limit but it is obvious the deer are losing a lot of food to the turkeys now. we'll see down the road what develops.,..

got a pic of a moose here last year as well. from here you could see, turkey, bear, deer, moose, coyote, fox, coons, mink, tree rats, partridge, hare, pretty much whatever roams the woods of NH. the power of multiple break lines coming together added to a pinch point near 3 isolated food sources and big woods.
