After a couple of problems with our cam's settings, we finally got some pictures of bucks roaming our Kentucky lease. There were as many as 8 or 10 different bucks, with at least 5 of 8 points or better (six days of pics). None were monsters, but two looked very interesting; a buck with a couple of non-typical stickers that might be an 11 or even 12 point total and a pretty nice 10 point.
The buck with the non-typical "stuff" could likely use another season to mature into something really nice, but I'm not sure I can hold off if he wanders by.
The biggest 10 looks to be a pretty nice deer of close to 140. I tried to upload a couple more pics, but they wouldn't take.
We just had our first nice cool weekend and I'm looking forward to more cool weather...hopefully! Early Kentucky M/L is the 18 & 19th and rifle starts on the 8th of November. Bucks are normally on their feet looking and chasing by opening day of rifle around here. Time will tell.
