Sorry about the fuzzy picture. I've worked several hours today to get to this point. The front section is california buckeye burl and the back is claro walnut with a lot of color. I had to order the thong hole liner so for now I'm done. Next project is a satin peened finished blade. One of these will go to my Michigan hunting buddy for all his valued years of hunting together as well as the use of his camp.

That is some nice looking wood! I'm starting to understand burls now...good work HM.
