Here is the latest that I just finished today. It is the twin of the other that I made. My friend at work who got the first one is giving this to his brother. Steel is D2 and the handle is elk antler.

Another awesome knife, To me, Bone looks Excellent on any knife!

I have to admit that yesterday I destroyed maybe my best set of walnut scales. I had them all installed, pins in and did some last minute sanding and went too far. I ended up ripping them off and now have to start over. I suspose it happens from time to time but I had been saving those two walnut pieces and just ruined them. Oh well decided to take a break and stay out of the garage today. On a positive note, I have two fish blades coming to make up for the Canadian fishing trip in July. These won't be anything special just something different and user friendly.

I've got a box full of unfinished knives that I either ruined or just didn't like the way they were turning out. Sometimes it's just best to take a break. I've actually put a knife aside because I wasn't liking it, and them dug it out ten years or more later to finish it.

I finished another one for my dad today. It's getting late so will post a picture after work tomorrow.

Here is the second large drop point hunting knife for my dad. It is basically identical to the first with a D2 blade and jigged buffalo bone handle. The rivets are Loveless style bolts and the thong hole tubing is a .223 shell.
