different bucks I think. The spot both of those deer is headed to just on the left of the pic is a scrape. I saw it today. What the heck?? They are not supposed to be making scrapes already! There is actually a short scrape line down the trail too. 3 scrapes in all. Wierd.

Look different to me as well.

If they were scraping this early in TN I would have to bow hunt now. We are still at least a month of out of early scraping.

Usually they would not start scraping here until the end of october. this has been a wierd year for weather, and maybe that is messing with them a little. It does seem like the bucks have split from their groups now, and have shifted patterns some. I have not hunted this spot yet, but after seeing what I saw today I may need to start sneaking in there. All I need is a north wind and I will be there! If they are already scraping/searching it could be great hunting for the next month before the does come in.

The hocks are still pretty white so the scrape thing is weird this early, although after last year's strange activity nothing will surprise me, well maybe shooting a nice trophy.
