My redneck sled..

I got the idea of using an air mattress from timberghost. Noticed some pics a year or so back where thats what he used.

I kept getting holes in them so decided to wrap them in a tarp to add some protection. It worked longer but I still got a couple small tears after a couple of hours.

I need to find a tougher air mattress.

we usually buy cheap wally world pool rafts work well also
as those give you something to hold on to but I think the air mattress
is probably stronger

probably a lot safer than the car hoods we'd pull behind jeeps.

Try a cheap 2 man rubber raft, we use them here and you can hook the tow lug on the front of the raft up to a 4-wheeler.

I have always just used the tube we pull behind the boat in the summer behind the atv in the snow in the winter.

if you want to go the really cheap route just lather the kids up in lard & tell them to hold on to the rope really tight
