timber, up around malone they got some real corkers. the trout trooper that did the seal said it was a fair size for a sow. we have to bring out the bits and pieces so they know is it a boy bear or is it a girl bear. then they take a tooth.

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

We ate the one that I got. Well between my family and all the friends that I shared with. It is good if it is cut right and cooked right. Tazewell is about 2 hours west of Roanoke. Got to love the mountains here, been here all of my life. My bear was also just an oppurtunity that came about. But I would love to do it again.
