Buckhorn Museum

Went to the Buckhorn Museum yesterday....San Antonio, Texas
Some of the pics may be a little dark...sorry

NOTE the antler below the eye...ouch!

This 2 headed calf was owned by my uncle's brother...it lived for 7 days until dying

This is actually a piebald doe....

This buck was fighting with another buck and they intangled themselves into a barbed-wire fence...the other buck lost one of his antlers and escaped with his life...this buck wasn't so lucky -if you look close you can see the other buck's antler on the right side of the pic

The 'bubble' on this buck's antler was probably the result of a screw worm infestation during 'antler growing'

Thank You SO MUCH for sharing those pics, not everyone will get the chance to visit that museum but thanks to ETD we get to see parts of it here...

Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.

like a freak show for deer ,weird stuff

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
