Good buck down!

Got a nice 8pt yesterday morning at 6:45am. Finally got some north wind and some cold weather! Shot high on him at 310yds and dropped him in his tracks. Going to get him euro mounted. When I drove the truck up to load him up, there was a younger buck standing over him all bristled up. He didn't mind that I was in my truck less than 50yds from him. Congrats !!! Nice deer and shot ! I don't think I've ever even shot over 120 yards before. Most my deer are 40 to 80 yards.

Congratulations!!! Great looking buck.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I feel very fortunate to have taken this buck.

310 yds is by far the longest shot I have ever taken on a deer. I felt confident as I had my rifle zeroed in and just felt good about the shot. Now the 310 yds is not official, that is tator steps and my steps may have been shorter than 310.
