100% hand made knives

Friend of mine is making knives and just got his web site up. These knives or 100% hand made and custom knives can also be done.I have 3 of his knives and love them. very sharpe and hold a great edge. 2 deer cleaned with one knife and will still shave hair from your arm and has not been sharpened. The etching and the birds eye maple are really cool. Do you know what type/grade of steel he is using that they hold their edges so well?
