whats the differance

whats the difference between a nice scope and a realy nice scope? im not talking about the diferance between a $30 wally world special and a $500 scope. im talking the diferance between a nice $150-$200 Vs. a $450-$500 scope. iv looked at pantex game seekers ( $180), and Nikon Pro staffs ( $200 ish). and before i drop that kinda cash i want to make shure that there is no way im going to want to turn around and buy a $450 one cause of a cool feture that it would have.

basically your paying for the quality of the glass and clarity.shop and look thru different scopes at different prices.in my opinion the best scope bargain is the zeiss conquest 3-9.

Kinda depends on the rifle you're are putting a scope on. I think any of the Nikon, Leupold scopes in the 200-250 range would suit most hunters and be a very good scope. I too am scope hunting right now. i tend to put higher quality scopes on a higher quality rifle and so on. Even on E-bay can get you a really nice scope for 200 bucks.
