 More JR Alas I to am a confirmed Dale Ernhart Jr fan.Mainly cause of his dad who was a mans man and loved hunting and the outdoors and always went for all or nothing on the track every race.Jr is a great car driver and I don't agree that just anyone can do what they do as good as they do it on a regular basis.I think Jr has backed off from the all or nothing deal and the winning and wrecking goes with it.Now they are racing for points more than just the win and I believe it takes a little bit away from the sport.But just like the Dallas Cowboys he has my support through the bad times and the good. JMHO, Rock

| The points system doesn't change things that much I don't think. They are always trying to win it. Tinkering with the cars and throwing mystery cautions hurts it more than anything in my opinion. Slowing them down and then bunching them back up. There is never a race anymore where someone absolutely dominates and runs away with it. That and having Robbie Gordon and others in the way when people are trying to race. Oh, and lucky dog is as dumb as it comes. |

| backing off don't work, that was the difference between gordon and johnston this year. If backing off worked then mark martin would have multiple championships. Jr. made a great move going to hendricks because alot of his problems in my opinion were decisions made on pit road. rick hendrick is not an absent owner he is there. if you over torque an engine in practice he will want to know why you didn't chg the engine. If you wheel is loose he will want to know why you didn't chg that just to have it fall off on final lap. Jr. is a good driver and tony eury jr. a good crew cheif, but rick can provide the leadership and or guidance to make them great. |
