Default Flints

Holy cow, I paid $19.99 for 3 TC flints at Bass Pro, they probably paid $3.00 for them. Ouch!

Wow, I'd like to know where you got those too. I've been keeping my eye out for something that was a decent price but still worked well.

FG, are you grinding a sharp edge or actually chipping/flakeing a new edge? I would be interested in where you are getting them and what material they are.

I am a little late to this party, but I just got here.
Here is Mr. Pierce's contact info rpierce@dom.wustl.edu
He sends you 13 flints, You try one in your rifle, If your rifle likes it you send him a check. If not, send back the flints no questions asked.
They are white Missouri Chert and spark like crazy.
Very good guy to deal with, ya cant beat the price or the service, They are the only flints I use.
