I like to use high quality powders/bullets in the in-lines which will put me out to 200 yds with good groups. Plenty good enough would be a starting point for me. Benching your rifle using several bullets and a couple of powders will ultimately bring better results than you are currently getting. Tough advice yup, but I think sound advice. Good luck this fall.

Default Traditions

I'm going to take my Traditions along also.It shoots well but I haven't hunted with it yet since I just got it for Christmas last year.I've taken it to the range once so far with good results but it needs some fine tuning for more confidence.

Default range

I prefer a lighter bullet like the 245 gr. Powerbelt for flatter trajectory and a little more range. I use 370 gr. Maxi Balls in my TC Hawkins and won't take shots over about 75 yards because of the severe drop in trajectory. So with the new Inlines I would like to take advantage of the longer ranges these rifles are capable of and not deminish it by going to such a heavy slug.I do worry a bit about the reviews the Powerbelts have gotten, but I believe a well placed shot should make all the difference.I would like to try some Black Widow Bullets.Does anyone have any experience with them?

tc maxi hunter comes in 275 grains. The black window i think comes in 275 and 350gr grain, but again, just a TC maxiball - Maxi Hunter with a ballistic tip installed.
