Default want to know about a cva stag horn muzzleloader

i got a chance to trade for a cva stag horn any body know anything about it or have used one thanks

they are an earlier model of todays * Buckhorn* 1:28 - 1:32 twists, very light weight, Plunger style system that can use all 3 ignitions. A really good shooting gun too. Triggers on them are pretty crisp as well.

In good condition they are worth about $70 * No scope and just the plain jane model*

it has a scope and sling and im going to trade a bow for it , it is an older bow that i dont use . so u think it would be a good deal

if the bore isnt rusted/pitted up, i'd say go for it. The rifle is easier to sell again than an old bow.

Default Staghorn is very good

Great, great triggers. Hunting accuracy is sufficient (that's not faint praise). They're light, they've got a GREAT trigger. I owned one, and currently own the Buckhorn. Only downer is, they're a pain to clean up. Otherwise... very good rifles.

my son hunted with one four years with no problems except like mentioned before the pain to cleanup
